Boom 25 Review
Using Cashback sites for my online purchases are one of my favourite ways to earn money. I was therefore intrigued when I recently came across a cashback site I hadn’t heard of before. – Boom 25. What was most interesting about this cashback site is that it doesn’t operate in the same way as other cash back sites like TopCashback and Quidco. Instead of paying cashback to members on every valid purchase, Boom 25 pays cashback to every 25th member who buys from that retailer (clue in the name!). You may be wondering what’s so great about a site where aren’t guaranteed cashback but the benefit of using Boom 25 is that if you are the lucky 25th Winner then you the full amount as cash back! According to the website – ‘We collect a pot if cash ready with commission accrued from our partner retailers’ in order to do this. Boom 25 uses special technology to count every 25th person buying from that particular retailer and they will receive the cash. Boom 25 currently has 645 retailers and counting on its website and you can find many of the big names on there. It is one way to make buying online a little more exciting!
How does Boom 25 Work?
It is free to sign up to Boom 25. The site basically operates in the usual way of finding a retailer and clicking on the link to get your visit tracked and going to the retailer’s site. You then make your purchase in the normal way and this will be confirmed with Boom 25. On the homepage you will see many retailers listed but you can also use the search box to find the one you’re looking for.
Boom 25 also features deals where there is a better chance of being the lucky customer who wins the cashback. Instead of the winner being the 25th person some retailer will offer cashback for the 5th or 10th customer for example. This is usually for a limited time and all the retailers offering this better deal can be found under the ‘Hot Deals’ section.
The site states that if you are the winning customer you will be notified by email and you can withdraw the cash using PayPal. All transactions you do can be found on your dashboard which makes it easy to check they have been tracked. You can also refer friends to Boom 25 and pocket £2 per person that joins.
Pros?
The main advantage of Boom 25 is that potentially you can win the whole amount you spent back which is going to be a hell of a lot more than you can get as cashback on other sites that typically only offer just a few percentage back. The higher amount to be won makes the buying process a bit more exciting as there is a chance to basically get your shopping for free!
Cons?
The obvious disadvantage to using Boom 25 is that there is no guaranteed cashback, in fact on most purchases you are unlikely to get any cashback with there mostly only being a 1/25 chance. If there is something you plan on buying online and you can get a good amount of cashback on the other sites then it is probably for the best not to use Boom 25 and miss getting any cash back.
Boom 25 is a great cashback alternative and in my opinion definitely worth using especially when you can only get very little cashback on the other big sites. If I’m buying something where I can only get 1% cashback on the usual cashback sites I use then I’d much rather use Boom 25 and have a chance of winning all my money back rather than the tiny amount I would have been guaranteed to receive. For example I regularly do an online shop at Iceland and you can only get 1% cashback currently with TopCashback and so I’ve decided to use Boom 25 instead, in the hopes of winning a lot more (typically I spend around £40 a time).
Boom 25 is a site certainly worth using and does put some excitement an fun into buying online and potentially saving money at the same time!

That sounds exciting. It would be amazing if you have just paid for a holiday or a similar large purchase.
That’s exactly what I’m thinking – You could win back a huge amount if you’ve made a big purchase! 🙂
